Hola Familia y Amigos,
First off.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ONE WEEK LATE MICHONE! (it was your birthday right?) ;)
Sounds like life is just rollin along back home. Well the mission is just rollin along down here. We had a couple exchanges this week which was pretty fun. I went to Las Cuadras with Hna nieves and we had a great time together and were able to get some good work in. She is a great missionary and knows exactly why she is here in the mission.
For our second exchange, we were with Hna Ashton and Hna Baird. I was with Hna Baird in my area here in Cala Cala. She just barely got here three weeks ago and is a shiny new greeny ;) Hna Baird is so sweet and she is just rockin as a missionary. She is getting a taste of the stress of not being able to speak the language but nothing unordinary! It was actually kinda funny because it was like dejavu of when I started my mission and just barely had two weeks and I had an exchange with Hna Scott here in Cala Cala too! haha we had a good laugh with my pensionista Hna Leydy who remembers that day I came and couldn't speak worth crap haha
It's just too crazy for me to think that I'm now on the other end of the mission and I can't pause time to make it finish slower. So looks like I gotta keep focused and finish my business here so that I can feel just amazing when I complete my 18 months. :)
So luckily, we were actaully able to leave Saturday but yesterday we had to stay at home all day for the elections. Looks like Evo Morales wins again and will continue in his position after 15 years of being president.
Mom, we finally got to put ot use my birthday crafts yesterday! haha The Temporal sisters actaully came over and we had a fun time sculpting and making little figures with the melting beads haha. Thanks for that!
So that work is hastening on and the weather is getting hotter and hotter. The rain still hasn't totally dumped on us but we know it's on it's way. That will be nice to have some cool off days apart from the super hot sunner days. :) and it will also prepare me for the cold winter Utah weather! Haha.
So last week when I was with Hna Nieves, we had a lesson with her new pensionista and her boyfriend. So they actaully have a baby and are thinking of when they could get married. They have strong desires to get baptised and to complete with God's commandments. It was just really cool to see such a great pair of people who are wanting to do better and to act according to the Lord's teachings. Hermano Herlan was describing their story and how he was lead to Ayde. They are a very cute couple and they are loving receiving the lessons and understanding that the Lord is guiding them in their paths.
It really is a treat to be able to help so many poeple get closer to eternal life step by step. ;)
I love you all soooo very much and I hope you are all just having a great time at home and don't let the colder weather comin get you all sick!
Love,
Hermana Forsey
