Hola Familia y Amigos,
I'm glad you all had amazing bdays this past week!
This past week here in Bolivia we were able to have three exchanges. Woof! pretty busy stuff down here in the mission. But just loving every second of it :)
I got to know Hna Shultz this week as we had intercambios in my area together. She is the one who got here about a week late because she was sick in Provo. But wow can I just say she is a fireball. Haha we had such a fun time together. She is so funny and just full of energy and excitement to talk to everyone. We had a great time finding new people to teach and just having fun. Her spanish is amazing and she is just progressing like crazy as a missionary. I think talking A LOT really is just the key to learn a language haha. Hna Shultz loves to talk. She loves being a missionary and she is such a blessing of new energy for the mission. ;)
So my second intercambio was with Hna Evans. Hna Evans is amazing and so fun and sweet. She took me to part of her area which is called Pueblito which just mean little town. I felt like I was in a fake disneyland town haha that was fun though. We learned a lot together and had some fun with a few interesting investigators
This past week we had the priviledge to have another intercambio with Hna Ashton and Hna Baird too. So their area about a week ago was the area with the temple but they just barely got an emergency change to Esmeralda which shares limits with my old area. Huayllani. We thought they just needed a little breather so we decided to do intercambios and had a good time together. :) Hna Ashton is absolutely amazing. She is an amazing missionary as well and just loves being here working in Bolivia. I could really see the love that she has for the people as she taught a family in her new area who have four kids who are recent converts and the couple are trying to get married so the wife can get baptized as the dad's already a member. It was so fun to see the different ways she teaches so that the kids understand everything well. The family has a daughter who is handicapped but jsut so cute. I'll send a few pics of her. Well I absolutely loved all the intercambios we had this past week and I have sure been able to reflect more on the blessing that it is to be here in the mission serving the Lord by helping his chilren come to know the truth of the gospel again as they are here in this earthly maze of satan's traps and every day trials.
I am so thankful for this amazing opportunity I have had to be a missionary down here in Bolivia. I can't imagine how my future life would have been like without the experience of a mission to teach me so many things I needed to learn and still need to learn. What a blessing it is to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. :) I LOVE MY LIFE!
Take care this week everyone!
Love,
Hermana Forsey
