BACK TO COCHABAMBA
Hola Familia y Amigos,
HOLY COW I HAVE A NEW NEPHEW!! WOOHOO!! Make sure to give him lots and lots of hugs and kisses for me. It's a bit of a bummer not being there to hold him as a new born but I guess I'll just look forward to Michone's Little one haha.
So not too much went on here in Sucre this past week because my comp and I were a little sick a couple days and just trying to work with that. But we were able to get a few great lessons in with a couple new investigators and that's the most important ;)
So last night, we received news of changes...
Looks like I'm going back to Cocha! It's sure been a short two changes here in Sucre and it's pretty sad leaving. But I guess Cochabamba needs me again. It's crazy seeing how your mission rolls out and comes to an end. So maybe this is my last área but it's posible to have two more. I guess we'll see what the Lord wants of me! So I'm not quite sure how my new área is or even where it is but I will inform you all in more next week. My new comp is Hna Gonzales that was actaully Hna Barzola's comp in the MTC. Crazy! we are switching comps too. Meaning that Hna Fernández (from the states) is coming in my place and I'm going in hers. There's been a LOT of weird changes like that so lookes like it will be an interesting transfer ;)
So my comp and I saw something very tender this last week that I wanted to share.
As we were waiting outside to enter one of our appointments, we saw a little family walking on the other side of the street. At first it looked like a normal mom and dad with their little 3 or 4 year old daughter but then we realized that the two parents were blind. The daughter was in front holding her dad's hand guiding him while the mom was in back holding on the the dad's shirt. Wow, what responsibility that little girl has, and what trust those parents have in letting her guide them in the streets. That just made me think of the many trials and hard things we all have to deal with in this life. I can't even imagine being in their situation and having that kind of trial to live with. But God has his plan for each and every one of us and knows what things we are capable of. Be grateful for every trial that you have and try to look at it with a positive point of view. We are all in this world together working toward eternal life and most of the time, it won't be easy, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE :)
Sorry this email is soo short but know that I love you all and hope you are all doing so very well.
Love,
