5th Companion: Hermana Soliz (from Santa Cruz Bolivia)
TRANSFER WEEK! GOING TO GET ANOTHER COMPANION!
4th area: Sucre
Back to Cochabamba to pick up new companion!
Hola Familia y Amigos,
First off.. Mom, give a hug to grandma for me if you can. Let her know how much I love here and just tell her to keep on chuggin along. I LOVE YA GRANDMA!
Well this week has been a week of adventures.. Hna Soliz and I have had a blast here in Sucre getting to know the area and our investigators. Hna Soliz is from Santa Cruz and is the middle child of 5. It's funny because she has a very different accent from Santa Cruz and I've found that I'm starting to talk like her! haha what they do when they talk is change a lot of the S's into J's .. You'll have to look up a video or something to understand ;)
We are preparing an investigator named Juan for his baptism this week which is awesome. We had 5 investigators come to church this week which is awesome. There will definitely be many miracles this change here in Sucre.
As life goes on.. sometimes the great times have to end and we have to say goodbye to our friends... YEP, we received changes last night (normal mission changes) and Hna Soliz is going back to Cochabamba to open an area right by the temple! And I.. well looks like I'm training once again! Oh boy haha htis will be interesting because I still hardly know my area because it's so huge. Look like we will just have to work together mi hijita and I to get to know the area more. The great thing is that I get to go to Cochabamba for a couple days to pick up my comp! Woohoo! I'm pretty sure our flight is in the morning but Hna Soliz and I should be flying together with the others that are getting changed to Cochabamba
So during church yesterday, one of the bishopbric came up to me and gave me a paper and said Hna Forsey, here's an invitation for you! I was just like Gracias! then I saw that it was an invitation to give a talk in church. haha I felt a little tricked there for a second but just laughed. I am giving a talk this week on the Convesion through the Book of Mormon which will be fun to study about. The great thing about giving talks that you the one giving it usually learns a lot more than the people receiving. So maybe there's a lesson in there for me that I need to learn.
So tomorrow we're starting a whole new adventure again. I have faith that everything will go well this change and that we will get to know our area here more in Sucre haha. If I've learned anything here in my mission this past little while, is that the Lord trusts in me. He know's my potential and he has a plan of how to help me reach my potential. All I have to do now is trust in him in all aspects and search for the lessons that he wants to teach me. Life isn't always easy.. but it IS possible. And it all really depeneds on each and every one of us to make each and every day a success. Search for the little lessons that the Lord has for you and have faith that he will help you through each and every trial that you pass. Just like the righteous men in the Book of Mormon explain how the Lord didn't take away their trials but he DID help them get through them with patience. He knows us, He loves us, and he wants us to be happy. Never once will he give us a trial just to make us suffer, but to help us learn and get to be be more like him. :)
I love you all and wish you all an amazing week this week! Take care this week!
Love,
Hermana Forsey
