Hola Familia y Amigos,
How're all the receiving Jenni preparations going?! Well I guess I kinda escaped from the chores this time.. haha ;) Jk.
ALSO I got my birthday packages!! Thank you so much Mom! I love everything you sent and I will be putting to good use all the craft stuff haha
Anyway, this past week was a little tough one with sickness. BUT that doesn't keep me down! haha This past week we were actaully with Hna Soliz and Hna Gonales while they were in the clinic for a couple check ups so I could translate for Hna Hansen to imform her of a few things. But we actually ended up doing and intercambio with them for a few hours because they had a few appointments but Hna Soliz had to do a couple things still in the clinic. So I actually ended up going with Hna Gonzales to Huayllani again! I just can't stay away from that area ;) But it was nice being able to go and visit a few of my old investigators again and actually be able to help out one of our investigators who had lost his grandma the day before. I know that the Lord had a definite part in that.
So, Diego, who supposed to get baptized a couple weeks ago, couldn't because he still didn't have signed permission from his parents. Well we went and visited him and actually in perfect timing to see his dad and talk to him. WE GOT THE PERMISSION! Woohoo!! Diego was so happy he said he couldn't explain how happy he was :) We were too! It really has been such a blessing to be an instruments in his conversion. We set the for sure date for this last Saturday and my comp and I were able to go down and see him be baptized and then my old pension was so kind to feed us :) Diego's family weren't able to come to the baptism but he was super happy nontheless. He had the great support of one of the families in the ward and that's what matters. So that was one of my treats this week!
We had stake conference Saturday and Sunday which was awesome and we got to hear from Pres. Jensen (temple pres.) and Pres. Hansen both days which was awesome. We got some great inspired people down here in Cochabamba and it is such a great blessing to be down here to listen to their council :)
Well I hope you all enjoy Jenni this week and have a lot of fun this weekend! Love you all and give Jenni a huge hug for me!!!
Love,
Hermana Forsey
p.s. I also wanted to mention that there is a sister here in the mission who is actually leaving to her home tomorrow because they found a severe tumor in her brain. She could really use a lot of fasting and prayers from all of you. We are doing the same as a mission. Thank you!
