special calling: SISTER TRAINER LEADER (female Zone Leader)
Hola Familia y Amigos,
I sure hope you are all just doing amazing up there in the states!
This past week here in Cochabamba went really well. This new calling is sure tiring me out too haha But I am learning a ton and loving getting to know the sisters even better here.
This past week, Hna Giles and I were together for splits in my area. We had a great time together and learned a lot from each other also. She is such a fireball when it comes to missianory work. I can just see her excitement to help all the people here. we went to there house to change back and then Hna Bohorquez and I were off to the Huayllani sister's house (Where I came from before being here in Cala Cala) to have another Intercambio. It was so fun being back in Huayllani for a day with Hna Gonzales again. It was a little weird being in intercambio and being able to be the one saying who we could go visit.. haha first time having an intercambio in one of my old areas! It was sure a treat though being able to see a few people there and be able to be with Hna Gonzales again. I have learned a lot from her and how she uses the little moments we have with people to share just a short message with them when they say they don't have time. Every moment counts!
Still getting to know my area here in Cala Cala and doing my best the be the example that these sisters need here.
This past week, we had a zone conference with Elder Waddell of the Seventy. It was an amazing conference and we learned a lot about what we can do to use our time wisely and how we need to work a lot harder with the recent converts and less actives. For someone to get baptized, they now have to attent at least 3 times for the three hours and also give some type of offering like fast offering or tithing before baptism. Looks like there aren't going to be a TON of baptisms here soon but there will be a LOT more CONVERTS in the gospel, not just baptisms. It really is so cool to be able to see how the Lord is hastening his work in these days. He is aware of his children and what they need in this life to be able to make it back to his presence. He also trusts each and every one of us to take care of our brothers and sisters to help them make it back also.
We had a fun Family night with the stake pres and his family last night who live in our ward. Pres. Ibañez guided us in a little study of the scriptures. We talked about how the Lord has ordered times in which he sends his children here to the earth. He has a plan for us to receive the gospel and to be able to get to know life apart from the world when we are in the gospel. He is aware of us and also knows that Satan is working hard. He blesses and helps us when we trust in him and show our faith through obedience and prayer.
The Lord loves each and every one of you! Don't ever forget that!
Love,
Hermana Forsey
