Hola Familia y Amigos,
I hope you all are just enjoying having Jenni back home!! Woohoo!! One down, one more to go ;)
Jen I just listened to the recording of your talk. I couldn't hear very well but what I did here was awesome. The Atonement is seriously the key to happiness in this life. It covers EVERYTHING. Every single heartache, sin and struggle. The Lord loves us more than we can imagine and for that reason, sent his only begotten son to suffer for each and every one of us.
This past week was a great week down here in Cochabamba. I was with Hna Fuentes for a day this week for exchanges. We had a great time together and got to know each other a lot more. She actually goes home the change right before me.. which is in 5 short weeks! So that was a little weird being with someone going home before me. Haven't been the younger comp for a while! haha But Hna Fuentes is amazing. I can really see the spritual strength that she has gained on her mission. She has such a strong sweet testimony and I am grateful for the opportunity to share a day with her in these last moments in our missions.
Diego, who got baptised went to the temple to do baptisms!! Woohoo!! it was soo fun being able to go watch him do that with the Huayllani sisters and also with the ward since it was their temple day. Reunions of loved ones are just great! Diego was so happy and just shining. I know that he is going to become a very strong leader in the church one day as he already is for his family as he paves the path for them to follow one day.
So this past week.. we were walking in the street and I heard a little girl yell Hermana! I looked and saw a little girl jumping up and down... I looked at my comp. just wondering.. who is that? Do you know her? haha well I took a better look and realized that it was Jhissel! From my second area! She was with Isabel, her mom who are both my converts. That was so awesome being able to see them and to help remind Isabel the importance of going to church because she hasn't been going lately. But she told me that Alejandra, her other daughter who got baptised first is going every single week and is super active in the activites and seminary. :) Such a great feeling to know how your converts are doing and if they are staying strong in the church. I know the Lord put Isabel in my path for a reason. She needed a little spritual boosting and I think the Lord needed me to give that to her. He sure knows what he is doing and if we are doing the things he wants of us, he will put us in the right paths even though we may not be aware of it.
Saturday night, our stake center wasn't able to have the General Women's Conference there but Pres. and Hna Hansen invited the sisters in our zone to the mission home to watch it! Wow, such a strong amazing spirit. I absolutly love seeing the smiling faces of all the amazing leaders we have in the church. Pres. Uchtdorf's talk was awesome. I loved the part when he was talking about the Love the Lord has for each and every one of us. It doesn't matter how nice our clothes are or how popular we are on Facebook. The Lord loves us NO MATTER WHAT. He knows our disabilities, he knows are failures and he knows the things we may not do right. BUT he STILL loves us. He will never stop loving us. Aren't we so lucky to have the knowledge of a loving Heavenly Father who is always aware of us? We may forget about Him sometimes but he will ALWAYS be mindful of us. :)
I love you all soooo very much :) Take care this week!!
Love,
Hermana Forsey
