guess you could say...I'm famous!
Hola Familia and Amigos,
First of all, HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY SPENCER!! LOVE YOU!!
Well, it sure has been a crazy week this week. I can't believe I'm already in the mission. Thank you EVERYONE for all the loving emails! I took pictures of them all because I had 25! Ah Haha looks like I'll have to read them all later tonight. Thank you so much for all the pictures and the videos. It looks like you are all having too much fun ;)
My last week in the ccm was really fun but very sad. We became very close with our teachers and all the missionaries so it was hard to say goodbye. Our last pday, we were the only ones that had our teachers and then some come to the temple and store with us afterward. It was really fun, we got pizza after too from Papa Johns and ate at the temple (we lucked out a bit :) )
Mom, have you added my teachers on facebook yet? They have pictures up I think so I know you would like to see them :) Also can you add them to the email list by getting there emails on facebook if you have't already? Thank you so much for everything mom. You are seriously the best mom in the world. It was hard not being able to talk to you on Tuesday, but it's ok. I just need to not think about it so I can stay focused and you as well, ok?
This week has been crazy different and a bit overwhelming but that's ok, that's how missions are right? ;) Our fist day we had a capacitacion (training meeting) at the Chapel and that was really great. President Dyer and his wife are amazing. My companion's name is Hermana Huarachi and she is from La Paz. And nope she does not speak English haha, but I have been teaching her a lot so she's catching on a little bit. Her mission is really Barcelona, Venezuela, but she is here waiting for her Visa and has been here for almost 5 months . She is super sweet and has a lot of patience with me, since I'm not fluent whatsoever. But I'm learning a TON and have noticed how the Spirit works in learning a new language.
The people down here are so amazing and so sweet. We have a lot of people, to visit but they haven't been home a lot so I haven't met that many. It's really hard to remember names because there are so many and are a little different, but I'm working on it ;) One of our investigators, Hermana Patricia, is pretty old and she can't walk very well at all. I visited her for the first time, but Hermana Huarachi and her last companion had already contacted her before. She is so sweet. And she came to church this week! Woohoo! We picked her up and caught a taxi. It was really cool to see how happy she was when the members made her feel so loved and welcomed. Before we took her home, we had the bishop and a few others giver her a blessing for her health and that was really awesome as well.
Our pensionista (the sister that does all of our cooking) is super awesome. Her family is so sweet. Her and her husband and I think her daughter, is LDS. they are like family to me already, so that's a comfort. We go to their house for lunch and dinner and we eat with other missionaries, so it's really nice, like family meals :) Saturdays and Sundays we eat with members. The members here are amazing and are very strong in the gospel. And the people LOVE to feed you. OH boy, yesterday after we took Patricia home, her family runs a restaurant and her daughter made us soup...and we already had lunch scheduled for an hour later, haha and lunch is their biggest meal here. Luckily we ate a little later, and it was more of a serve yourself meal around the table. The family we ate with yesterday was really welcoming and were very happy to meet me seeing as I'm a descendant of Hyrum Smith. I told my companion that the other day and she loves to tell everyone, because it's very uncommon to have direct descendants of modern day prophets down here..ha ha, so I guess you could say I'm famous! ;)
I never thought that my art and English would come in common so much down here! We have been getting a few investigators and I said that I can help them learn English so they have really liked that. Also we have an inactive boy and his mom. The boy is 14 and really likes drawing, so I'm going to be helping him with that.
Again, sorry I haven't replied to everyone else individually! I will read all my emails tonight.I love you all and stay safe!!
Love,
Hermana Forsey

Mom, I just want you to know that I love you more than ever. Thank you so much for always being there for me and for showing me so much love and support.
Did Chis ask you if you could send me the lyrics to Homeward Bound? I didn't really think that English hymns and songs would be so comforting to me down here and I kinda wish I would have gotten an English hymn book, but that's ok.
Never ever forget how much I love and think about you mom. YOU ARE AMAZING.
I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love,
Your daughter,Kimmi
