Hola Familia y Amigos,
HAPPY BIRFDAY BROTHA!! HAHA LOVE YOU MATT! I HOPE YOU HAD AN AMAZING BIRTHDAY THIS YEAR!
Well it just looks like everyone is enjoying the great summer days there in utah although they are now coming to a quick end.... Sorry.. haha no but it's actually pretty cold down her in Cochabamba due to the rainy weather. When the sun's out, it's pretty darn warm. But now we will soon be falling into the rainy season for the end of the year and that will bring some more cold weather along with odd, hot sunny days haha.
So it's a new change, and a new adventure being back in Cocha. It's funny because my head is still in Sucre because when someone talks about going to the temple or going as a family, I just think, Sweet that's awesome that you are going to the temple soon! still thinking that it's a 9 hour bus ride or half our plane ride away haha. But anyway, I'm sure happy to be close to the temple again!
My area is called Huayllani (why-yany) and is in Sacaba which is on the back side of Christ. So now I'm gettin a taste of the other side of town. ;) My companion is Hna Gonzales who also comes from a family of non member parents. It's always great having companions so strong in the gospel who sacrifice their time to serve the Lord and are examples for the rest of their families. She is from Puno, Peru and was companions with Hna Barzola in the MTC! Hna Fernandez, who trained her just switched places with me so she's back in Sucre in my place haha. It's been an interesting change seeing that a lot of missionaries just got switched like that.
My area here is awesome and pretty sure it doesn't have a single paved road.. haha other than the "highway" right by our house that goes to the city.
We are pretty excited to see what this changes beholds for us. We are working with a few great investigators, of which two of them came to church yesterday. We had church at 3 yesterday because of another ward who needed the whole church for a conference in the morning so that was a little different going so late and getting out at 6. We are really anxious to boost up our numbers of lessons with members because that's been a struggle in this area. So that is our main goal this week. We are having a competition with the elders in our ward to help motivate us even more haha
Mom and Dad thank you for always sharing your amazing emails and spiritual thoughts with me! It really does just lift my spirits even more every week :)
Well I hope you all have another amazing week this week! I love you all so very much!!
Love,Hermana Forsey
